Researcher at the Institute for Adult Learning and PhD candidate in Public Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore

Mr Bryan Ang is a Researcher in the Research Division at the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL), and concurrently a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.  

His research centres on the governance of skills and lifelong learning systems, focusing on how workforce policies are designed and implemented, and whether training systems have the institutional capacity to deliver effective reform. He also draws on futures thinking methodologies to explore how policy frameworks might adapt to longer-term workforce transitions. He co-leads the qualitative research strand of national studies on the Training and Adult Education sector, and evaluations of SkillsFuture-related policies, drawing on qualitative fieldwork and policy analysis.  

Bryan holds an MSocSc in Political Science, Governance and Public Policy from the National University of Singapore, and a BSocSc (Hons) in Political Science and Public Policy from the Singapore Management University.
